As a bunch of anime, manga, and videogame fans, we have always sought out avenues where we can get our hands on original anime goods. One good method is to go down to Singapore to buy them but the cost of travel and accommodation can be a rather painful experience for the wallet to do it often. As such, that’s an option that most of us do not exercise often.
The other method is to order the goods online straight from Japan. Well … that’s great if we have credit cards, are willing to pay the shipping costs, the taxes, and, not to mention run, the risk of having the goods we ordered confiscated/censored.
So, we figured…well why not open up an online store and start up a supply line to other Malaysia fans as well? Of course the goods we carry are one-of-a-kind and currently not present in Malaysian markets. Stuff like pencil boards, A4 folders, cushion covers, t-shirts, and uncommon items that are solely produced by the anime studios.
How is The Anime Depot different from the other local stores, you ask?
We only deal with original goods. That’s right, original, legitimate, and only AUTHENTIC goods! The stuff you don’t see present in any of our local anime stores (with the exception being figurine stores, Gundam shops and specialty stores). What you will be buying from The Anime Depot will be goods that are sourced directly from Japan (and soon, from the United States!).
